With DIESSE, business empowers ethics for social well-being

Diesse is committed to making the world a better place. In this sense, the Company translates its vision into concrete action by significantly donating to a variety of charitable organizations that operate both at an international level and in the healthcare field.

In the first category, Diesse supports the Italian Fondazione Francesca Rava for Haiti and Solidali for Malawi. The former is a foundation established in 2000, out of a desire to offer concrete help to children in distressed situations in Italy and around the world, particularly in Haiti, where malnutrition and treatable diseases greatly affect the population. With numerous health, educational and empowerment projects, Fondazione Rava cares for 80,000 children a year. The latter is a non-profit organization founded in 2011, focused on raising awareness and carrying out aid programs to promote human and social improvement in Malawi.

In relation to healthcare, Diesse donates to the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), Operation Smile and Lega del filo d’oro. With a multidisciplinary approach, IEO transforms scientific research into new treatments to fight cancer for patients coming from all over the world. Operation Smile is a global non-profit organization engaged since 1982 in treating children and adults with cranio-maxillofacial malformations, providing medical expertise and research. Finally, Lega del filo d’oro is the Italian reference point for assisting, educating, rehabilitating and enhancing the potential of people with deafblindness and psychosensory disorders. By embedding corporate philanthropy into its business, Diesse creates long-term ethical value for the greater good, worldwide.
