DIESSE LAB: where innovation takes shape, one hose at a time

DIESSE added value lies in its in-house R&D and Quality Control Laboratory, a strategic innovation hub where technology and expertise converge to ensure uncompromising quality and reliability, both by verifying existing products and by developing new ones.

“Product innovation is a cornerstone of our approach, driven by continuous research into advanced materials and the development of high-performance solutions. This commitment is brought to life in our Lab where each hose is tested in order to meet the most demanding standards of the market, ensuring we always deliver the highest quality hoses to our clients” explains Giosiana de Stasio Sales Manager at DIESSE.

A defining strength of the lab is its custom-built machinery, the result of steady and targeted investments over the years. Indeed, its team leverages technologies such as TGA (Thermal Gravimetric Analysis) and DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) to analyze the behavior of raw materials, essential for developing next-generation rubber compounds that must endure extreme conditions, pressure, and chemical exposure.

The laboratory is also equipped with impulse testing systems to assess finished products, burst test benches for hydrostatic pressure verification and fire testing systems aligned with MSHA, API 16D, and EN ISO 15540 standards. It demonstrates the company’s commitment to deliver hoses that are safe and certified even for the most critical environments such as marine, mining and earthmoving.
